Simran Kapoor is a Lighting Designer, from Kolkata, India, based in Toronto, Canada. She graduated from York University, Toronto with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Production.

In her recent project she's worked as the Assistant Lighting Designer for Stratford Festivals Wedding Band & Grand Magic. She believes that Theatre has an unlimited potential of storytelling, which made her want to learn the creative process with which it's executed. She enjoys the chaos and also realizes the method that comes along with it being one of the greatest art forms. Having worked on several projects that have exposed her to different kinds of lighting, design, and storytelling, she has not just understood the art of visualization but has also understood the art of execution.

She is an efficient time bound creative professional who enjoys making content and collaborating with people.
